Nena Belen’s sound is a fusion of cumbia, reggae, and classic rock. Born & raised in Texas with a Latina heritage, Nena Belen was influenced by the Tejana queen, Selena, from a young age. Her time spent on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica inspired reggae music to shape her style and her mother’s love of Fleetwood Mac, Tracy Chapman, and Bonnie Raitt influenced her soulful vocals.Her recent single, “There You Are” is a collaboration with GreenTree Music, a fellow musician and longtime friend.
